Okay, fine. I will. I have been storing extra blankets and comforters under the bed in my guest room. I have always hated this "solution" because they are bulky, so they are constantly spewing out of one side or the other of the bed. I am always worried that they are getting dusty and possibly buggy (I haven't actually noticed either of these problems, maybe because of the bed skirt, but they both seem possible, if not likely!).
So on a whim one day, I decided to pick up a Space Bag ("As seen on TV!"). And, just as promised, it is the perfect solution to my problems - all of them. The blankets that previously took up the whole under-bed area...
Can now easily slide under just one small corner of it, are water-tight, and protected from bugs and dust! I just folded them up, set them one on top of another in the bag, pulled out the vacuum cleaner and sucked out all the air, and voila! A small, rock-hard cube of blankets!
Amazing. I love it. I am now looking for other items I can store this way. I have a feeling I won't have to look long. Aha! Just thought of one more - gotta go and get the vacuum ready!
